New Features
Improvements
Project Timeline
We have introduced a new "Timeline" option under Settings > Allowed Modules.
Key Updates:
The option is unchecked by default.
Only Succevo admin users can view and enable this module.
Once enabled, the Timeline functionality will be integrated into the project overview for a clearer and more organized view of projects.
Key Highlights:
The Project Timeline is displayed in a Gantt chart format.
Positioned below the “Add” button and above the Overview section on the Project Overview page.
By default, it displays projects for the current month, with a dropdown to select a specific year and month (up to 5 years past and future).
Timeline shows:
Month in the first row
Dates in the second row (with horizontal scrolling if needed)
Each project bar displays Project Name, Number, and Status.
If the project duration is short, the name is shortened, and full details are shown on hover.
On hover, users can view the Project Name, Number, Status, Start Date, and End Date.
Supports scrolling to view the previous and next months' projects.
Projects are view-only in this timeline (clicking will not redirect to the project page).
Deleted projects will not appear.
Project colors match the existing status colors (e.g., Blue for Confirmed, Orange for Inquired).
Up to 4 projects are visible at once; additional projects can be viewed by scrolling vertically.
Taskboard Enhancement
We’ve enhanced the Task Board to help you manage recurring tasks more efficiently. You can now add multiple tasks at once using the new "Add Multiple Tasks" option, located alongside the existing "Add New Task" button.
Key Highlights:
New Action Button & Icon: A dedicated "Add Multiple Tasks" button with the 📅➕ (rectangle-history-circle-plus) icon is now available alongside the existing "Add New Task" option.
Allowed Module Control: This feature is handled as an allowed module to ensure it can be enabled for specific clients without affecting others.
Familiar Interface: The form replicates the current "Add New Task" layout with an added Task Dates field.
Task Dates – Multi-Date Calendar Selection:
Calendar grid allows direct multi-date selection by clicking on dates.
The current date is highlighted by default, with the calendar opening to the current month.
Selected dates are visually highlighted; click again to deselect.
Option to exclude Saturdays and Sundays for specific months.
Horizontal scrolling supports navigation to additional months.
Task Dates field is read-only—dates are displayed as a comma-separated list of the most recent selections.
To modify dates, reopen the calendar and adjust selections.
Direct deletion from the field is not permitted.
Task Creation & Display:
On clicking Save, the system creates individual task entries for each selected date.
All created tasks appear on both:
Project Task Board – sorted by Priority and Task Date.
Calendar View – displayed as all-day events on their respective due dates.
Task Management & Tracking:
Users can delete tasks individually from either the Task Board or Calendar, with changes reflected in both views.
Assignees can be reassigned individually for each task, consistent with current behavior.
Time tracking entries for tasks will display Task ID and Entry ID when edited from the Calendar view.
Editing a task from the Task Board will display total time spent only, without the Entry ID.
History is recorded for all changes made.
We’ve extended the Meetingbox email notification system to fully support the new "Add Multiple Tasks" feature, ensuring assignees receive clear, consolidated updates.
Single Consolidated Notification: When multiple tasks are created for the same user using the "Add Multiple Tasks" option, the system now sends one combined email instead of multiple individual emails.
New Email Template Mapping: A dedicated email template mapping for this feature is now available under Settings → Email Settings, allowing for tailored messaging.
Consistent Format: The notification follows the existing "New Task Assigned" email style for familiarity, with the following enhancements:
Task Dates Field – Displays the range of task dates generated.
Due Dates Summary – Lists or summarizes all applicable due dates for clarity.
Clear Identification: Subject line and body content indicate that the notification relates to tasks created via the "Add Multiple Tasks" feature.
Respects User Preferences: Emails are only sent if the recipient has task assignment notifications enabled in their preferences.
Project Workflow Enhancement
Copy Functionality: Services & Packages Across Projects
We’ve improved the copy experience to manage services and packages across projects.
What’s New
Copy Services/Packages Across Projects with Date Alignment: When services or packages are copied from one project to another, the system automatically adjusts their assigned dates based on the difference in project start dates.
Example:
Project 1
Start Date: 1st April 2025
End Date: 5th April 2025
A service is assigned to 2nd April 2025.
Project 2
Start Date: 15th June 2025
End Date: 17th June 2025
Here’s what happens when you copy the service:
Project 1 starts on 1st April.
The service is scheduled on Day 2 of Project 1’s timeline (since it’s 1 day after the start date).
Project 2 starts on 15th June.
The system applies the same offset (1 day after the start date).
Result: The service will be placed on 16th June 2025 in Project 2.
Copy Services Within Packages
If a user copies an entire package from one project to another, the package and all its services move together.
If a user copies only specific services under a package, then only those services are copied, and they appear as individual services in the target project (not inside a package).
If a user copies a package but selects only some specific services from it, then the package is copied to the new project, but it contains only the selected services.
Recurring services/packages are fully copied, including their entire series.
Streamlined Navigation
After a successful copy, you’re automatically redirected to the Services tab of the target project, where the copied services/packages are immediately visible.
Improved Date Filter Labels in Reports
To make reports clearer and more intuitive, we’ve updated the labels of date filters under Reports > Project > Services. This change improves usability by making it easier to understand what each filter represents, while keeping all underlying functionality unchanged.
"Start date" → updated to Project Start Date.
"End date" → updated to Project End Date.
"Date from" → updated to Start of Work.
"Date added to" → updated to Planned Closing.
Filter logic and functionality remain unchanged.
Updated column names are reflected in Exports as well.
"All Packages" Filter in Project > Services
We’ve introduced a new “All Packages” filter in the Project > Services section, making it easier to review, select, and calculate services based on package grouping.
Filter & Selection Enhancements
A new “All Packages” filter is now available next to “All Payables.”
Clicking the filter displays all available packages that have services assigned.
Selecting a package name will:
Auto-check all services under that package.
Allow you to manually uncheck individual services if needed.
Deselecting a package automatically unchecks all of its services.
Supports multi-program selection:
If you choose a package from one program → only services from that program are shown.
If you choose packages from multiple programs, → results from all selected programs are displayed.
Dynamic Price Calculation
Total price updates automatically based on selected packages/services.
Pricing options behave consistently with existing functionality:
Show only package price → Displays the package price only.
Show all service prices → Displays the sum of selected service prices.
Show service cost, package sell → Displays the sum of selected service prices + package sell price.
Note: Price calculation logic remains unchanged; it now also works seamlessly with the new “All Packages” filter.
